This according to Time Warner CEO Mr. Parsons, from Hong Kong, via Reuters, regarding the reported Google-Comcast interest in investing in AOL. Which is no doubt offensive to the three Wall Street Journal reporters who reported it last night in extraordinary detail. And which, in today's world of "business-as-usual-is-fraud," will probably later be cited by lawyers as a misleading statement if/when the deal is actually consummated.
Especially because, of the three parties involved, the only one with a clear interest in getting on the phone with the Journal and gabbing about the details is Time Warner--the one party that would obviously benefit from a more-motivated Microsoft charging into town with a better offer.
